The “In-Home Learning System” is designed to meet the needs employers emphasized as baseline requirements including:
- Employees with an understanding of technology that allows them to adapt to proprietary systems.
- Employees that can start and finish tasks independently.
- Employees that have basic education skills.
- Employees that understand the soft skills of working.
Business Access programs have historic rates of 84% of the people we serve getting off of welfare (compared to the national average of 36%) and staying off (compared to the national average of 37 months on TANF). By placing computers and Internet access in homes, our programs are multi-generational, serving both the parent and the children simultaneously, a method proven to be the most effective catalyst for ending multi-generational dependence on government support.
