The FSE&T program is designed to provide enhanced employment retention, living wages and career mobility for clients that may be facing an end to available services. Computers are installed in the homes within two weeks of locating a job (so their cases can be closed). Participants have also been co-enrolled in WIA so that they can continue training services.
This program allows customers to better compete in the workplace, while giving them the flexibility to pursue training of their choice in their home. The entire family is encouraged to use the PC – up to four dependent family members get e-mail accounts and have access to training. The program is available in both English and Spanish.

Texas
Texas state agencies, non-profit entities, cities, counties, school districts and universities can purchase this program through purchase order utilizing the Department of Information Resources contract #DIR-SDD-532. According to Texas Government Code, Section 791.025, DIR has met the competitive bid requirements, eliminating the need to customers to customers to follow this process. Purchase made under these contracts also qualify under E-Rate.
