Business Access' online communities are designed to serve clientele with high dropout,
unemployment, and poverty rates. Program goals are focused on employment, retention, vocational
training and/or remedial education depending on the needs of participants. The program
is available in English and Spanish.
The In-Home Learning Community program
includes:
- ½ day orientation provided
by local training program
- Personal computer installed in home
- Internet access in home
- Individualized curriculum based on
a career aptitude test
- Localized online community with content
specific to target group
- Extensive tracking and reporting
- Technical Support
- Achiever Advocacy
- Log-in Ids for up to five members
per household
